In the Boy Scout Promise, a boy scout promises “to help other people at all times”. By participating in Scouting for Food, scouts come a step closer to fulfilling those words.
for Food is when Scouts go out into the community and collect food items
to donate to local food banks for those less fortunate.
All of the food Troop 465 collects will be donated to the Sonlight Vision Ministries food pantry at Hickory Flat Fellowship Church. Scouting is a community based organization so let’s support our community.
